Denise Mirza Bennison — Woman, 18+ to play 16. OPEN ETHNICITY, mixed-race appearance preferred. Brilliant, biting, and emotionally ahead of her years. Denise has just lost her mother, and grief has made her sharper, angrier, and less willing to indulge the adults around her—especially her father. A gifted teenage scientist, she understands the time-travel technology better than most adults would, but beneath her intelligence and sarcasm is a devastated girl trying to survive unimaginable loss. Looking for an actor with strong dramatic instincts who can play grief, intelligence, resentment, humor, and buried vulnerability, and who can convincingly read as the daughter of Eric Bennison and Grace Mirza-Bennison. We are especially excited by actors who feel passionate about the material and interested in helping spread the word and build early momentum for the project.
